I went back and reviewed the shipping records, including the packaging photo, which shows the item was shipped in a plastic padded bubble envelope.
Based on the condition described, it appears the envelope may have been opened in a way that damaged the contents. Unfortunately, once the package has been picked up by the postal carrier we are not responsible for the damage caused by how the package was opened after delivery.
