If this wasn't being gifted to my own children, I wouldn't be happy gifting it to someone else. We like to keep the packaging for display, but this one we decided to toss. Please don't ship boxed items in bags, it usually doesn't end well. The item itself is fine and in good condition. The item was bubble wrapped and then double wrapped in padded mailers, I do not control how the postal service handles their packages once it leaves. I could have helped with a damaged box if you would have been kind enough to reach out instead of going straight to the review, but no worries thank you . I love my new doorables!!!
