I have been loving and collecting knives since before I was allowed to use them. I worked as a restaurant manager for a couple decades and raised a son with my wife. Out of the blue, I needed heart surgery right away to replace my aortic valve. I went in for surgery in mid March of 2020. Things went sideways. Very long story short,I ended up coding for 40 minutes. But I came back! I woke up in the hospital during the first week of the pandemic. I had to relearn everything. Walking, reading, etc. I had to find a new way to live. I turned my old hobby into a way to make a little money. Restoring and selling pocket knives on eBay. Five years later I downloaded Whatnot, met all you amazing people, and I found my smile again.
