I purchased a card at auction and the seller was not happy that no one else bid and the card ended up selling for $1. As a result he cancelled the purchase. I messaged the seller and never got an explanation for the cancellation. As a seller on the WhatNot platform, I do understand the frustration of auctions not going as you hope, but the sell needed to be honored in this case and it was not.
