As seen on Shark Tank 🦈 The Bear & The Rat is a Colorado-based pet treat company founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Meg and Matt Meyer. Inspired by their pets, a Lhasa Apso ("Bear") and a Rat Terrier ("Rat"), Bear & The Rat produces frozen yogurt dog treats, cupcake/cake mixes for dogs, and oven-baked dog meal kits. All products are formulated for dogs and are made with high-quality, human-grade ingredients
