But somewhere between the chaos, laughter, ridiculous deals, and increasingly questionable financial decisions, I realized the truth:

Thanks Kidamgus! I appreciate you leaving me a review! In the void between stars floated the First Interstellar Vault of Nova Cred, an unbreachable bank of titanium and force fields. A fox named 9Volt, fur crackling with static from old power cells, decided it held one credit too many.
You met him at the docking ring. With a playful zap of his tail he shorted the outer scanners, and the two of you slipped inside. 9Volt scampered up a strut, shorted a force-field node, and the barrier flickered just long enough. Drones swarmed; you danced between them while the fox leapt from machine to machine, tail sparking.
At the final bulkhead he pressed his nose to the quantum lock, gave a soft bzzzt, and the door forgot its job. You tumbled into an escape pod as alarms wailed. 9Volt rerouted the pod’s power through his own static field, scrambling the pursuers’ sensors. The pod vanished into a nebula.
When the stars cleared, Deep Space 9 waited. Traffic control challenged you; 9Volt transmitted a cheerful “Just two travelers,” static-wink included.Morn,

I have officially added Interstellar Vault Robbery to my résumé, and apparently your getaway skills are just as impressive! “Just two travelers” might be the greatest excuse ever transmitted from Deep Space 9. 😂
