This is beautiful, however it has a strange smell. I apologize for the smell, some of my items have came from auctions, and yes I noticed a smell on some items, I assure you it is not from my home, but I do not clean certain items because I am afraid of messing it up. I love the cups unfortunately two were broken. The packaging was not protective enough for glass and the handles on two cups broke into pieces. Very disappointed!I apologize, I am fairly new and am learning from my mistakes with packaging.
