The item arrived safely and was packaged well. It has a nice decorative appearance and the vintage glass and metal combination gives it plenty of character. However, upon inspection, the glass bowl sits somewhat loosely in the base and has a noticeable wobble. Because of this, I would consider it more of a decorative display piece than something I would confidently use for serving food.
Overall, it's an interesting vintage item and looks attractive on display, but the quality and stability were not quite what I expected for the price paid. That said, shipping was prompt, the item arrived intact, and the seller provided an accurate vintage piece with lots of visual appeal.
