I had a similar experience to bluelabrlcardz….there was damage to a lower priced card I purchased ($135) and it was not disclosed. Knowing of the damage I obviously would not have bid that high.
I reached out to the seller to try to remedy and he stated “there’s always a chance a card could be damaged or as is”. With 1300 purchases on whatnot I have not had an experience where the card damage was not disclosed from experienced sellers.
Apparently this is not the first time this has happened…as he stated “someone else is pulling the same thing in a different message from the same show”.
There is always risk with purchasing on whatnot…but i think we all would like to have more transparency from sellers. When I sell the card in the future I will be sure to disclose the issue.
Beyond the damage, the card was packaged fine and shipped quickly. spent over 2k on a card and the seller didn’t describe that MASSIVE crack in the slab. He then says he didn’t know about it when the crack is hiding on the bottom while running the card where the buyer can’t see the crack. Sketchy seller I would be cautious buying from him. He’s been threatening in messages too once I messaged him about the card. Great Streamer Here with Fantastic Cards!!!
