The blade came sharp and not even a scratch on it since it was in a sealed bag. The handle scales don't have ANY sharp edges, they are sanded smooth as velvet. Now It is a san mai blsde, but the surface is tacky and feels like hard rubber. I dont want to scratch up the blade testing it's legitimacy.
