This one-of-a-kind Sonoran Gold turquoise and sterling silver statement pendant has a suggested retail price of $595. This is the stone that helped start my journey into silversmithing. I purchased this cabochon at a rock shop outside Tombstone, Arizona, and left knowing I was going to teach myself to work silver and someday give this stone the setting it deserved. I held onto it until my skills caught up with that idea. The result is a substantial 41.94-gram sterling piece, individually fabricated with layered wirework, hand-textured elements, silver drops and an oversized hand-stamped bail. The brilliant blue turquoise carries striking natural matrix and metallic-looking inclusions that make the stone exceptional from every angle.
