This one-of-a-kind Diamond S Silversmiths pendant has an estimated retail value of $325 and showcases approximately 20 carats of Number 8 Turquoise in handcrafted sterling silver. The turquoise was acquired as rough at the Kingman Turquoise Mine in Arizona, then individually cut, shaped and polished by the artist. Its beautiful blue surface is crossed by an intricate natural brown matrix, giving the stone exceptional character. Hand-fabricated sterling silver surrounds the cabochon with twisted-wire detailing and graduated silver accents, finished with a generous bail suitable for a cord or chain. 17.43 grams total weight. Handcrafted, signed with the Diamond S maker’s mark and stamped STERLING. Pendant only; cord shown for display.

I’ve always been a treasure hunter at heart. Traveling for work took me through the American Southwest, where turquoise and silversmithing captured my imagination. 2½ years ago, I taught myself to cut rough stone and work silver—and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I source turquoise and other rough, cut and polish my own stones, refine silver, alloy my own sterling, roll it into sheet, and create each piece by hand. My other passion is fossils, which I transform through inlay into one-of-a-kind fossil art and jewelry. When I’m not at the bench, I’m hunting antique bottles—especially early Savannah, Georgia sodas—and unusual pieces of history. I love things with a story, and I love giving them a new chapter.
