Product Details

1954 Bank of Canada $2 banknote featuring the classic young Queen Elizabeth II portrait on the front and a rural Canadian landscape scene on the reverse. This is the Modified Portrait issue, also commonly known as the “without Devil’s Face” variety. This note carries the Beattie/Rasminsky signatures and serial number BR 1885272. A great collectible Canadian small-size note and an affordable piece of mid-century Bank of Canada history. Condition is circulated, with visible folds, handling wear, staining/discoloration, edge wear, and surface marks. Please review photos carefully for exact condition. Still a nice example for a Canadian banknote album, starter collection, or Whatnot world currency lot
