Ancient hammered silver drachm from the Sasanian Persian Empire, likely a later issue of Khusro II, circa AD 591–628. The obverse depicts the crowned ruler facing right within a beaded border. The reverse features the traditional Zoroastrian fire altar flanked by two attendants, with mint and regnal markings around the design. This broad, irregularly shaped coin retains strong central detail, though portions of the legends are weak or off the flan. Visible circulation wear, surface marks, toning, and striking irregularities are consistent with an ancient hand-struck coin.
