Product Details
This beautiful vintage sterling silver Zuni-made bolo tie is a timeless example of classic Southwestern craftsmanship and traditional Zuni inlay artistry. The bolo features the iconic sunface motif, beautifully accented with large sterling silver raindrops that add dimension and visual interest. Intricate inlay of jet, mother of pearl, turquoise, and coral creates a striking display of color while honoring one of the most recognizable symbols in Zuni jewelry. Eight millimeter sterling silver bench beads accent the bottoms of the bolo tips, adding a refined finishing touch. Though unhallmarked, this is common for Native American jewelry of this era. The slide mechanism is stamped BENNETT PAT. PEND. C-31, a mechanism used on bolo ties produced between 1957 and 1967, further supporting its vintage appeal. This handsome bolo is a wonderful collectible and an outstanding accessory for both Western wear and Southwestern jewelry enthusiasts.
