A beautiful antique 1907 Waltham Grade 161 pocket watch housed in an engraved gold-filled hunter case. This watch is currently running, but it will need servicing for accurate timekeeping, so it is being sold as a collectible mechanical timepiece. The watch features a clean white porcelain dial with bold Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, and a sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. The ornate gold-filled hunter case displays an attractive floral engraving with a monogrammed cartouche, giving it outstanding period character. The signed A.W.W. Co. Waltham movement is clean and original. An excellent example of early 20th-century American watchmaking, ideal for collectors, display, or as a rewarding restoration candidate.
