Elegant antique Coronet Limoges France porcelain cabinet plate or charger, beautifully hand decorated with a vibrant bouquet of deep red and soft yellow roses against a luminous shaded green background. The artwork is signed by the decorating artist (appears to read J. Quitter), making this a one-of-a-kind studio-decorated piece. The scalloped rim is finished with rich gold gilt, complementing the vivid floral design. Decorated on a Coronet Limoges blank, this plate dates to the early 1900s (circa 1900–1925) and is an excellent example of the highly collectible hand-painted Limoges china produced during the “blank decorating” era. Condition: Very good antique condition overall. There are a few small areas of paint loss on one of the red roses (shown in photos) and light wear to the gold trim consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. A wonderful addition for collectors of Limoges porcelain, hand-painted floral china, or elegant antique home décor.
