This beautiful vintage unsigned Victorian Revival brooch features an ornate gold-tone filigree design centered with a luminous simulated opal glass cabochon displaying vibrant flashes of pink, orange, blue, and gold. Surrounding the center are turquoise-colored glass cabochons and amethyst-colored rhinestones arranged in a detailed floral starburst pattern. The intricate openwork construction and rich color combination give this brooch a classic mid-century revival aesthetic. Unsigned, but comparable in style and quality to higher-end Victorian Revival costume jewelry of the 1950’s Measures 1.25 inches in diameter and weighs 12.74 grams. Excellent vintage condition with bright gold-tone finish, secure rollover clasp, and all original stones present. The simulated opal glass center displays exceptional fire and color play when viewed in different lighting.
