This authentic 2.2” angustidens fossilized shark tooth has a suggested retail value of $349. The angustidens lineage ultimately produced the Megalodon. The angustidens lived approximately 22–33 million years old, this tooth was recovered by a diver off the coast of the Carolinas. This metal work on this pendant was completely hand-fabricated in sterling silver by Diamond S Silversmith. The fossil is secured with individually cut and hand-stamped sterling silver elements and features a substantial handmade decorative bail and sterling backing. Every silver component was fabricated and stamped by hand, creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece of wearable fossil art. The tooth retains excellent natural character and visible serrations. The tip exhibits ancient damage consistent with feeding/wear, adding character and history to the fossil.
