These two have clearly rehearsed their entrance. A fabulous matched pair of cast brass crane or heron sculptures, with one standing tall and elegant while the other sweeps its wings dramatically downward like it has just remembered something important on the floor. Both sit on wonderfully detailed round sunburst bases with modeled bird feet, and the taller crane measures approximately 11". No maker’s mark is visible, so I’m keeping the attribution sensible: classic mid-century/Hollywood Regency style brass birds with terrific sculptural presence. They belong together, and I refuse to break up the act.
