Beautiful vintage Avon covered butter or cheese dish made by Fostoria Glass Company, featuring an elaborate clear glass design with brilliant diamond, starburst and geometric detailing. The set consists of a decorative scalloped serving plate and a fitted domed cover topped with a faceted knob. The intricate pressed-glass pattern catches the light beautifully and gives the piece a sparkling cut-crystal appearance. The base is clearly marked AVON. This attractive serving piece was produced for Avon by the well-known Fostoria Glass Company and makes a wonderful addition to a vintage glass, Avon or Fostoria collection. Measures approximately 6" across and 4½" tall with the cover in place. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks (#0050)
