Product Details

This One-of-a-kind Thunderbird pendant is hand-fabricated by Diamond S Silversmith in sterling silver, with a suggested retail price of $289. The finished weight is 24.76 grams. Features three distinct American turquoise varieties: a large Kingman turquoise centerpiece, blue Campitos turquoise, and collectible light-green Number 8 turquoise with golden matrix. Due to the calming nature of these colors and the rounded form of the piece, the artist calls this the “peace bird.” This is not a cast piece. The Thunderbird was individually cut from sterling silver, fabricated entirely by hand, and extensively hand stamped, including the detailed feather work. The substantial handmade bail features a generous opening, making it suitable for a chain, leather cord, or other necklace style. Signed with the Diamond S maker’s mark and stamped STERLING on the reverse. A one-of-a-kind piece of Southwestern-inspired wearable art.

About the Seller
I’ve always been a treasure hunter at heart. Traveling for work took me through the American Southwest, where turquoise and silversmithing captured my imagination. 2½ years ago, I taught myself to cut rough stone and work silver—and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I source turquoise and other rough, cut and polish my own stones, refine silver, alloy my own sterling, roll it into sheet, and create each piece by hand. My other passion is fossils, which I transform through inlay into one-of-a-kind fossil art and jewelry. When I’m not at the bench, I’m hunting antique bottles—especially early Savannah, Georgia sodas—and unusual pieces of history. I love things with a story, and I love giving them a new chapter.
