Striking vintage equestrian wall plaque featuring a dimensional horse head in raised metal relief mounted to a warm carved wood frame. The metal panel has a wonderfully aged dark bronze/copper-toned patina with natural oxidation, surface wear and character, while the wood frame shows its own beautiful age and texture. Finished with an old metal hanging loop at the top. A fantastic piece for an equestrian study, library, tack room, lodge, farmhouse or collected gallery wall. Unmarked from what I can see, so I’m leaving the maker and exact metal unattributed. Vintage condition with visible patina, scratches and age-related wear throughout; please review photos.
