This is an original antique cloth drawstring tobacco bag for Maryland Club Virginia and Perique Mixture (c. 1890s-1910s), manufactured by Marburg Bros. / The American Tobacco Co., Successor (Factory No. 39, District of N.C.). The front features vivid multi-color graphics in dark green, red, and yellow with strong typography and the printed factory notice. The reverse side depicts a detailed lithographed image of the historic Maryland Clubhouse beneath an American Tobacco Company guarantee seal. Retains its original woven drawstring cord. See pics for size reference. Condition is very good antique with strong graphics, intact stitching, and authentic age-appropriate fabric toning and light surface soiling.
