Striking c.1920s–1930s Chinese Export pendant, most likely 1930s, featuring intricate openwork silver filigree in a dimensional floral/sunburst design. The radiating petals showcase beautiful shaded vitreous enamel, with colors graduating within individual cells from pale cream and yellow into rich amber-gold, accented by mauve-pink tones. This distinctive ombré/shaded enamel technique creates exceptional depth and is characteristic of fine period Chinese enamel work. Centered with a large vivid turquoise-blue domed cabochon. The open reverse beautifully displays the elaborate filigree construction. Original patina and age-related wear remain intact.
