Beautifully intricate carved mother of pearl oval shaped brooch. This is an excellent example of traditional MOP carving which was done, mainly for the tourist trade, in Bethlehem/Holy Land. This particular brooch likely dates to the mid 20th century ; 1930s -1950s. Stamped “Bethlehem “ on the pin fitting. Closes with a C clasp. Pristine condition!
