This lovely little Damascene style brooch is in a fan shape with a bird and blossom design. It likely dates to the 1950s/60s. Due to the style and decoration it is very probably Japanese in origin. There are some signs of wear, as you would expect from a vintage piece but overall in nice condition. This would make a lovely addition to anyone’s collection of Damascene style pieces.
