The centerpiece is a beautiful AA-grade Kingman turquoise cabochon, purchased as rough directly from the Kingman Turquoise Mine in Arizona, then individually cut and polished by the artist. Brilliant turquoise-blue is crossed by natural brown host rock resembling expressive brushstrokes—giving this stone its “Painted Turquoise” name. The hand-fabricated sterling silver setting uses an elegant open-frame design intended to showcase the stone rather than overpower it. A substantial integrated bail completes this strong, clean design. 17.22 grams total weight. Signed on the reverse with the Diamond S maker’s mark and STERLING stamp.
