Product Details

This one-of-a-kind sterling silver and Mediterranean red coral pendant has a suggested retail price of $325. Handcrafted by Diamond S Silversmiths, the circular sterling pendant is richly hand-stamped with a Southwestern landscape of longhorn, cactus, sun, arrows and geometric motifs surrounding the cardinal directions N, S, E & W. Hammered impressions, a hand-marked perimeter and darkened recesses give the silver exceptional depth and character. At center is a vivid Mediterranean red coral cabochon reclaimed from an antique coral necklace. Its original stringing hole is intentionally preserved and fitted with a sterling silver pin through the center, mechanically securing the coral and becoming part of the design. Large handcrafted sterling bail. Signed Diamond S and stamped STERLING. Weight: 18.67 g. Leather cord shown for display only.

About the Seller
I’ve always been a treasure hunter at heart. Traveling for work took me through the American Southwest, where turquoise and silversmithing captured my imagination. 2½ years ago, I taught myself to cut rough stone and work silver—and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I source turquoise and other rough, cut and polish my own stones, refine silver, alloy my own sterling, roll it into sheet, and create each piece by hand. My other passion is fossils, which I transform through inlay into one-of-a-kind fossil art and jewelry. When I’m not at the bench, I’m hunting antique bottles—especially early Savannah, Georgia sodas—and unusual pieces of history. I love things with a story, and I love giving them a new chapter.
