Vintage circa-1950s The “Greys” Virginia Cigarettes hinged tin, made in England for Godfrey Phillips Ltd. of London. Originally held 20 large-size cigarettes. The green and gold lithographed design features a colorful Royal Scots Greys-inspired crest and branding on the lid, sides and gold interior. Rectangular pocket-size metal box measures approximately 4 x 3 x .75 inches. Empty vintage advertising container with its original attached hinged lid. An appealing British tobacciana collectible for cigarette tin, advertising, militaria-theme and decorative storage collectors.
