Antique pair of Turret Virginia Cigarettes advertising tins from Ogden’s of Liverpool, manufactured by Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada Limited in Montreal. Dating approximately to the 1920s–1930s, the larger hinged tin originally held 100 cigarettes and measures about 6.5 x 3 inches. The smaller held 50 cigarettes and measures about 5.5 x 3 inches. Both feature cream, gold, black and red lithographed graphics with Turret’s castle emblem, plus Factory No. 6, Port 10-D markings. Both tins are in antique used condition with scratches, scuffs, staining, discoloration, finish loss, edge wear and scattered oxidation. See pictures for further details on condition.
