Beautiful vintage Nativity grouping featuring a wonderfully rustic, old-world wooden crèche along with a collection of vintage molded plastic Nativity figures marked ITALY. Includes the Holy Family with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in his manger, along with an assortment of animals including camel, donkeys/asses and several sheep/lambs. Figures feature molded dimensional detail with hand-painted accents. The stable is especially charming with aged wood construction, rustic beams, textured roof and walls, faux stonework and mossy/earthy detailing that gives it the appearance of an old European manger. Believed to date approximately 1950s–60s/mid-century. Crèche and figures may not have originally been sold together. Vintage condition with age-related wear, paint loss, discoloration and surface wear throughout. Please review photos carefully for condition and included pieces.
