Product Details

Fiesta dinnerware was introduced by the Homer Laughlin China Company in 1936, designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead to offer American households bright, interchangeable colors for everyday dining. The distinctive Art Deco concentric ring motif became an iconic symbol of mid-century American kitchenware and remains instantly recognizable today. Although the original palette was discontinued in the 1970s, the immense enduring popularity of the line prompted a triumphant factory revival in the mid-1980s. The soft rose pink glaze seen here was added to the reintroduced color lineup to appeal to collectors and home decorators seeking traditional pastel aesthetics. Homer Laughlin utilized advanced tunnel-kiln firing techniques at their West Virginia plants to achieve this durable, uniform ceramic finish. These individual cup and saucer sets were produced in large quantities during the late 20th century, making them a staple for modern vintage table settings.
