Copeland Spode "Rosebud Chintz" in pattern 2/8401 — the celebrated Pink Vine colorway, named by Harry L. Rinker as one of the Top 500 Dinnerware Patterns of the 20th Century. An all-over chintz of pink roses, yellow flowers, and pink trailing vines with pale green leaves on a soft cream ground. A bridal favorite from its 1954 introduction until it was discontinued in 1971. SPECS - Backstamp: "2/8401 / COPELAND SPODE / ENGLAND / ROSEBUD CHINTZ" with Spode chest mark in red - Pattern code: 2/8401 (Pink Vine variant) - Height: approximately 3" (cup body) - Weight: 5.2 oz - Standard size cup (not demitasse) - Cream/ivory ground with all-over multicolor chintz - Scalloped fluted body with ear-shaped handle - Production: c.1954-1971 - No saucer included (cup only) CONDITION Pre-owned excellent.
