Product Details
This darling pair of sterling silver Native-made earrings by the talented Taos Pueblo artist Lawrence Archuleta of Buffalo Dancer beautifully showcases both artistry and craftsmanship. Each earring features a five-point star cut from wild horse magnesite with next to no matrix. The stars are bezel set with sawtooth edges and framed by smooth silver borders, while a tiny raindrop accent is nestled into each inner point of the star, adding charming detail and dimension. Purchased directly from the artist, he shared that star shapes are the most challenging to cut and result in the greatest amount of stone waste. Stamped L. Archuleta on the reverse, these lightweight earrings are a wonderful blend of Southwestern symbolism, exceptional lapidary work, and contemporary Pueblo design.
