Product Details

A beautiful early example of Fenton carnival glass, this antique open sugar bowl features the Stippled Rays pattern, introduced during the early years of American carnival glass production around 1908. Its rich marigold coloring comes alive with an iridescent finish that shifts from warm amber and orange to flashes of gold and rose. The bowl is molded with alternating vertical rays set against finely stippled panels, while a scalloped rim adds another layer of texture. Graceful double scrolled handles and a pedestal foot give the piece the silhouette of a miniature trophy or loving cup. CALLOUT: There are chips along the footed base.
