This is an original vintage 1930s L.E. Smith Glass Company "Annette" pattern frosted pink satin powder jar / trinket box. A highly collectible piece of American Depression-era glass, the sculptural lid depicts "Annette," an elegant flapper-era lady seated with her arms resting on two Borzoi sighthounds (Russian Wolfhounds). Crafted in a soft pink satin frosted glass, the lid sits flush on its matching multi-sided, stepped geometric panel base that perfectly captures the Art Deco aesthetic. Measures approximately 5 inches in diameter. Condition is excellent vintage with an intact shell structure, clean molded details, and no major chips, cracks, or repairs. There are fleabites to the one dog's ear and one to the rim, both are noticeable only upon close inspection. Box measures about 4 1/2 inches wide.
