This is an original antique Victorian/Edwardian quadruple silverplate footed trough / relish dish (dated 1902), manufactured by the Homan Silver Plate Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. Designed in an elongated boat form, the tray features a continuous beaded rim accented by high, arched scroll handles decorated with raised beaded relief. It is raised on four ornate scrolled bracket feet. The side is presentation-engraved in elegant script with the dates "1882 - 1902" (likely celebrating a 20th anniversary). The underside is stamped with the maker's hallmark featuring an anchor emblem, reading "Warranted by Homan Silver Plate Co. / Quadruple Plate / 901" alongside the "Special Metal" pitcher punch mark. Condition is very good antique with strong structural integrity, straight feet, and an honest, rich aged patina and tarnish to the silverplate finish that can be polished or left as-is. Measures 9 1/2 inches long.
