Product Details

Pair of original 1950s National Theatre programs from Washington, D.C., each approximately 9" x 6.5". Includes Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I, week of August 22, 1955, starring Patricia Morison and Leonard Graves, with original "These Were Actors" paper insert; and The Man in the Dog Suit, week of October 6, 1958, starring Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. The latter is a pre-Broadway Washington engagement preceding its October 30 Broadway opening. Both contain original cast information, production credits and extensive period advertising. Both are in good vintage condition with expected age toning, scattered foxing/spotting, edge and corner wear, minor creasing and handling wear. The Man in the Dog Suit program has some upper-corner bending and general cover wear. See pictures for further details on condition.
