A wonderfully detailed 1994 Fitz & Floyd “Autumn Woods” owl pitcher, featuring a wide-eyed woodland owl perched on a textured branch and surrounded by sculpted autumn leaves, acorns and berries. The pitcher is richly dimensional from every angle, with layered feather detailing, a wonderfully gnarled branch-style handle, raised foliage and earthy shades of russet, moss green, cream, gold and plum. Even when not in use, it has the presence of a small ceramic sculpture and makes a beautiful fall shelf or table accent. Holds 1.5 qts. Marked on the underside © FF 1994 Taiwan. Approximately 9" tall. This example appears exceptionally well preserved. No chips or cracks noted, including the vulnerable raised leaves, acorns and branch details. It appears to have been displayed rather than used for serving. Please review all photographs carefully as part of the condition description.
