Vintage matching pair of Windsor Mode Greco-Roman wall plaques styled by Illinois Moulding Co. of Chicago. Each measures approximately 8.25" across and features a classical figure on a black background beneath clear glass. One depicts a draped female figure and the other a helmeted male warrior. Ornate octagonal molded frames feature raised floral scrollwork with an antiqued gold-tone finish. Original Windsor Mode / Illinois Mldg. Co. backing paper remains intact and both are marked G.3476-114. Attractive mid-century classical wall decor with strong Hollywood Regency appeal. The ornate frames show scattered finish loss, rubbing, small scratches, discoloration and patina consistent with age, particularly on the raised gold-tone surfaces.
