Product Details

A British silver sixpence dated the same year the U.S. Constitution was signed! Struck under King George III, this is the desirable “With Hearts” variety, identified by the tiny hearts in the Hanoverian shield. Made from .925 sterling silver; KM#606.2 / Spink 3749. Photo grade: VF Details. George III’s portrait remains bold, while the reverse retains strong definition in the cruciform shields, four crowns, central Garter star and fully readable 1787 date. The coin has been cleaned and shows scattered scratches and hairlines, including several noticeable lines behind the portrait and across one reverse shield. Gray toning remains in protected areas. Uncertified; grade and attribution are opinions based on the photos. Exact coin shown—please review all images carefully. An eye-catching, affordable piece of Georgian silver with nearly 240 years of history.
