Big old-world silver with plenty of history in hand. This is Spain’s 1888 Alfonso XIII “Baby Head” 5 Pesetas, struck at Madrid with M·P·M initials. A crown-sized 37 mm piece; the standard issue is 25 g of .900 silver (.7234 oz ASW). The date, legends, arms, crown and Pillars of Hercules are all easy to read. I’d grade it around F15–VF20 Details. It has clearly been cleaned/wiped, with extensive hairlines, scattered marks and visible green/yellow residue on the portrait and fields. The tiny dates inside the stars are too worn to read confidently in these photos. Raw and uncertified; no straight-grade claim. You will receive the exact coin shown—please review every photo.
