A big, handsome vintage Mexican silver coin honoring independence leader José María Morelos. Struck at the Mexico City Mint in .720 fine silver, it weighs 27.78g and contains 20g of pure silver (0.6431 troy oz ASW). Large 39mm format with Mexico’s eagle-and-snake arms on the reverse. This example shows strong satiny luster, crisp detail and no obvious circulation wear. My photo estimate is MS62, with a reasonable MS61–MS63 range. It is raw and ungraded; scattered contact marks and light scuffs are visible, especially on Morelos’s coat and the nearby fields. I do not see an obvious major problem in the photos, but no third-party grade or straight-grade guarantee is implied—please judge the close-ups. A substantial classic Mexican silver issue with plenty of eye appeal and real presence in hand. Exact coin pictured; ships carefully protected.
