Art Deco-era necklace with Victorian/Edwardian Revival influence, featuring a large glowing carnelian-colored glass cabochon suspended from an elaborate architectural pendant. The rich reddish-burgundy glass comes alive in the light, revealing warm orange, amber and deep red tones designed to emulate natural carnelian. The large domed cabochon is surrounded by ornate foliate metalwork and suspended beneath an intricate horizontal filigree centerpiece with floral and scrolling details. Decorative elongated chain links and an original-style spring-ring clasp complete the period look.
